The Mudroom / Family entry
We love the idea of a mudroom/family entry – an area built into some houses to act as a barrier between the outdoors and indoors. Especially in our region with wet, muddy winters. This type of small, specialized room can be a useful addition as it helps to keep the house clean. In addition, it constitutes a clear boundary between indoors and out, which can be a useful reminder for kids and pets alike.
